This global finance firm is offering a 6-month Private Equity internship starting September 2026 within their Development Capital team. With nearly $100 billion raised over 30+ years, the firm is a pioneer in Private Equity with a multicultural team of over 230 investment professionals across 7 European countries, China, and the United States.

The Development Capital team, comprising over 40 investors across London, Stockholm, Frankfurt, and Paris, focuses on investments in profitable, high-growth companies. The firm partners with entrepreneurs and business leaders to drive long-term growth and establish market leadership positions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Origination and sourcing: screening and profiling potential targets, identifying and meeting entrepreneurs, sector experts and business leaders, analyzing sector studies
  • Investment execution: conducting valuations, LBO modeling, managing and monitoring due diligence processes, analyzing business plans, preparing investment memos for investment committee, structuring acquisition debt
  • Portfolio company monitoring: reporting, valuation, preparing and attending board meetings, conducting business analysis and market studies, identifying and executing add-on acquisitions and build-ups
  • Exit and divestment: identifying potential acquirers, preparing and reviewing transaction materials including information memorandums and vendor due diligence

Skills & Experience

  • Strong academic background from top-tier business school, engineering school, Sciences-Po, or Dauphine
  • Relevant internship experience in private equity, investment, M&A, or strategy consulting
  • Understanding of Private Equity and genuine interest in the investment sector
  • Excellent English proficiency for international environment and English-language work
  • Eagerness to learn, curiosity, rigor, positive attitude, open-mindedness, dynamism, and team spirit
