Overview
Join the M&A team within the CFO area of this finance firm for a 6-month internship starting in January 2027. Reporting to the Head of M&A, you will contribute to group-wide M&A activities and investment management, playing a key role in strategic initiatives that shape the organization\'s future growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist the M&A team with ongoing transactions and strategic M&A initiatives
- Support development of financial models, company valuations, and strategic analyses
- Conduct research on market trends, industry developments, and potential target companies
- Help manage complex M&A projects by coordinating across stakeholders
- Prepare high-quality presentations and materials for internal decision-making bodies
Skills & Experience
- University degree in economics, finance, or management (technical or industrial engineering background with strong finance interest also welcome)
- Prior experience in M&A, investment banking, or strategy consulting preferred
- Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel and PowerPoint
- Solid planning and organizational abilities
- Strong analytical and conceptual thinking skills
- Fluency in English required
- German and/or Spanish language skills advantageous
