A private equity firm based in Amsterdam is seeking a Private Equity Intern to join their dynamic team for a four-month full-time internship with flexible options. You\'ll work alongside experienced professionals, gaining hands-on experience across the full private equity investment lifecycle while contributing to real deal flow and portfolio company initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the team in sourcing new investment opportunities, researching emerging markets, and identifying potential acquisition targets
  • Assist throughout the complete M&A process, including management meetings, financial modeling, valuation analysis, financing structures, and commercial due diligence
  • Participate directly in strategic and operational projects with portfolio company management teams to identify growth opportunities and execute strategic plans
  • Engage actively in weekly team meetings and take initiative to seek additional exposure and responsibility

Skills & Experience

  • Currently in final phase of or recently completed Master\'s degree (finance, economics, econometrics, engineering, physics, mathematics, or social sciences backgrounds welcomed)
  • Strong analytical capabilities demonstrated through academic performance (7.5+ in Math B or 7.5+ in BSc/MSc-level analytical courses such as econometrics)
  • Proactive approach with ability to work independently under team guidance
  • Ambitious, down-to-earth, and solution-oriented mindset with eagerness to learn

  • Fluency in both Dutch and English required
