This global finance firm is seeking a Strategy Consultant Intern to join their Private Equity division in Paris, starting in September. As part of a fast-growing strategy consulting firm serving financial investors including private equity specialists, asset managers, and wealth managers, you will work on international projects covering market analysis, strategic reviews, and due diligence across the investment lifecycle.

The firm operates through three specialized business units: Sustainability Advisory, Private Equity, and Corporate Strategy, with a team of 80+ consultants across offices in Paris, Lyon, Madrid, and London.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct data collection and analysis for strategic consulting projects
  • Perform field research and interviews with market experts
  • Support delivery of strategic recommendations to senior executive level clients
  • Attend client meetings and partner discussions with key players in Asset Management and Private Equity across France and Europe
  • Participate in market and competitive analysis projects
  • Contribute to strategic reviews and business planning initiatives
  • Support strategic and sustainability due diligence processes
  • Assist with business development strategy projects
  • With experience, participate in internal firm development projects

Skills & Experience

  • About to graduate from a top-tier business or engineering school, seeking gap-year or end-of-studies internship
  • Previous work experience in strategy consulting firms, strategy divisions, or M&A departments of international groups, investment banks, asset management, or private equity firms
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint and good knowledge of Excel
  • Solid understanding of Private Equity topics and investment processes
  • Full fluency in French and English (mandatory)
  • Working knowledge of other European languages preferred
  • Exceptional intellectual ability and analytical skills
  • Strong business acumen and commercial awareness
  • Motivation to take responsibility quickly with ownership mentality
  • Ability to identify and seize opportunities
