Overview

This Analyst role sits within the European Real Estate Equity team at a global private equity firm managing approximately $596 billion in assets under management across more than 4,200 employees worldwide. The Real Assets group alone accounts for over $109.5 billion in assets under management, spanning more than 555 investments globally and operating from over 44 offices with more than 700 investment professionals (figures as of 30 September 2025).

The team invests across all UK and European real estate sectors and geographies, focusing on equity strategies. The Analyst will be a core member of a small deal team, working closely with senior investment professionals across the full investment lifecycle — from initial screening through execution, asset management, and investor reporting.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate within a small deal team to analyse and execute real estate equity investments across UK and European markets.
  • Perform extensive financial modelling, including deal screening, valuation, and scenario analysis.
  • Prepare investment committee materials, memos, and investment recommendations.
  • Support due diligence processes on new transactions.
  • Develop and maintain research on specific geographic markets, property types, and sectors.
  • Contribute to strategic oversight, monitoring, reporting, and ongoing management of new and existing investments.
  • Respond to investor requests and assist in the preparation of ad hoc investor materials and analysis.
  • Interact with counterparties, lenders, investors, lawyers, consultants, and other deal participants.
  • Communicate and report across all seniority levels, from Associate to Partner.
  • Engage in site tours and conduct market and comparable transaction analysis in conjunction with brokers and market experts.
  • Apply AI tools to support process efficiencies and inform investment decisions.

Skills & Experience

  • University degree with strong academic performance from a top undergraduate institution.
  • One to three years of relevant experience in investment banking, real estate private equity, or real estate advisory with a private equity focus.
  • Demonstrated experience evaluating real estate equity investments and relevant transactional exposure.
  • Strong financial analysis, modelling, and valuation skills.
  • Expert proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Familiarity with AI tools and their application to investment workflows.
  • Ability to assess both qualitative and quantitative characteristics of properties and investments.
  • Strong written, verbal, and presentation skills, with the ability to communicate concisely and effectively to internal and external audiences.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Highly organised, with the ability to operate with minimal oversight.
  • Highly adaptable, with flexibility across the depth and breadth of responsibilities.
  • Strong sense of accountability, responsiveness, and follow-through.
  • Team-oriented with a high ethical standard and a drive to maximise performance.
  • Fluency in one additional European language is preferred.

Why This Role Stands Out

This position offers direct exposure to a high-volume, pan-European real estate equity platform backed by one of the largest alternative asset managers in the world. The Analyst will be involved in all stages of the investment process from day one, working alongside experienced investment professionals across a broad range of sectors and geographies. The scale of the platform, combined with the deal team structure, provides meaningful responsibility and accelerated professional development within a well-resourced global organisation.

Application Process

Qualified candidates are invited to apply. Applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis. Candidates should be prepared to demonstrate relevant transactional experience, financial modelling capability, and an understanding of European real estate equity markets.
