Overview

A private equity firm focused on industrial companies and their environmental transition is seeking an Intern Analyst to join its investment team in Paris from September 2026. The internship runs for six months and offers hands-on exposure across two distinct investment strategies: Grey-to-Green, a leveraged buyout approach, and Go-to-Green, a growth equity strategy. Both strategies are united by a focus on supporting industrial businesses through their transition toward more sustainable operations.

This is an opportunity to contribute meaningfully to the full investment cycle, from sourcing and analysis through to portfolio monitoring, within a focused and specialist private equity firm.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the identification and sourcing of new investment opportunities across both the Grey-to-Green (LBO) and Go-to-Green (Growth Equity) strategies.
  • Conduct strategic and financial analysis on investment targets, including sector research, business model assessment, and financial modelling.
  • Assist in the preparation of investment materials and internal documentation.
  • Contribute to the monitoring and ongoing support of portfolio companies.

Skills & Experience

  • Currently enrolled in a Master\'s-level programme in finance, business, or a related field, with availability from September 2026.
  • Strong analytical and financial modelling skills.
  • Genuine interest in private equity, industrial sectors, and environmental transition themes.
  • Ability to work rigorously and autonomously in a fast-paced investment environment.
  • Proficiency in French and English is expected given the firm\'s Paris base and investment scope.

Why This Role Stands Out

  • Direct exposure to two complementary private equity strategies within a single internship.
  • Focused investment thesis at the intersection of industrial transformation and environmental transition — a high-conviction and growing area of the market.
  • Opportunity to work closely with an investment team on live deal flow and active portfolio companies.
  • Based in Paris, with a six-month duration providing meaningful depth of experience.

Application Process

The private equity firm is accepting applications for this internship now, ahead of the September 2026 start date. Interested candidates should apply directly via the application link provided in the original posting. Early applications are encouraged given the targeted intake.
