Overview

This is a permanent, mid-senior level role based at the London Lombard Street office, operating on a hybrid basis. The position sits within the Investment Solutions team of a consulting firm and supports the delivery of bespoke investment portfolios for high net worth, charity and endowment clients.

This is a front office role that contributes directly to a key area of business growth, with outputs that support both winning new mandates and maintaining strong client relationships. You will work within a small, collaborative team and gain early exposure to senior stakeholders and client-facing work, with a level of responsibility and visibility that supports rapid professional development.

The environment is fast-paced and time-sensitive. Priorities shift quickly in response to client and business needs, and no two days are the same. The role suits someone who is solutions-oriented, resilient under pressure, and motivated by variety and continuous learning.

Key Responsibilities

  • Produce tailored portfolio reports, translating complex investment data into clear outputs for clients and partners
  • Support portfolio managers with portfolio construction, analysis and stress testing
  • Use Bloomberg to carry out analysis, performance calculations and scenario modelling
  • Prepare materials for client meetings, presentations and ongoing servicing
  • Respond to time-sensitive requests from internal stakeholders and external partners
  • Collaborate closely with colleagues across the investment function to deliver accurate and timely outputs
  • Contribute to meeting preparation and attend client interactions where appropriate

Skills & Experience

Essential

  • Demonstrable experience using Bloomberg for investment analysis and reporting
  • CFA, CAIA or equivalent Level 4 investment qualification, completed or near completion
  • Strong understanding of capital markets and investment instruments, including equities, fixed income and derivatives
  • Strong numerical and analytical capability with a high level of attention to detail
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex information accessibly

Desirable

  • Exposure to portfolio construction or asset allocation
  • Interest in digital assets, blockchain or tokenisation
