About the Role
This Analyst / Associate position sits within the Private Credit and Advisory team at a private equity firm. The role centres on identifying, analysing, executing, and managing investment opportunities across the risk/return spectrum, with meaningful involvement at every stage of the deal lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead diligence conversations and workstreams with internal teams, counterparties, and external experts
- Present findings and recommendations in internal meetings, including investment committee discussions
- Source and synthesise data from differentiated data sources to build evidence-based investment theses
- Prepare rigorous financial models, quality of earnings analyses, and KPI analyses
- Distil complex information into concise investment committee memos and external presentations
Skills & Experience
- One to four years of experience in full-service M&A, capital markets, and/or an investing role
- Strong analytical and technical aptitude, with substantial exposure to business analysis, research, and financial modelling
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proactive, self-directed working style with the ability to perform in a fast-paced team environment
