Role summary

This Finance Manager position offers the opportunity to play a key role in financial planning and reporting within a dynamic corporate finance team. Working under the guidance of the Director, you will support the delivery of accurate, timely financial information across the organization while helping to drive strategic decision-making through insightful analysis and reporting.

Key responsibilities
  • Support preparation of annual and multi-year budgets, forecasts, and financial plans ensuring compliance with guidance, timelines, and templates
  • Monitor financial performance against budgets, identifying variances early and supporting corrective action follow-up
  • Assist with financial modeling and scenario planning by preparing data inputs and supporting analysis of future financial outcomes
  • Compile and present regular financial management reports, dashboards, and insights for leadership
  • Conduct financial analysis to identify trends, variances, and key metrics that translate into actionable insights
  • Ensure accuracy and consistency of financial data across reports, resolving gaps or discrepancies
  • Support preparation of annual statutory financial reports in line with applicable regulations and standards
  • Assist in ensuring financial statements and disclosures are accurate and complete
  • Stay current with changes in financial regulations and standards, supporting necessary adjustments to maintain compliance
  • Coordinate with internal and external auditors to facilitate smooth and timely financial audits
  • Prepare and provide documentation and information required throughout audit processes
  • Identify opportunities to improve financial planning and reporting processes through better use of templates, tools, and automation
  • Implement best practices to enhance reporting efficiency, accuracy, and consistency
Skills & experience
  • Strong background in financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting
  • Experience in financial reporting and analysis with ability to translate data into actionable insights
  • Knowledge of statutory reporting requirements and financial regulations
  • Experience coordinating with auditors and supporting audit processes
  • Proficiency in financial modeling and scenario planning
  • Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to work effectively under guidance while taking initiative on process improvements
  • Excellent communication skills for presenting financial information to leadership
  • Commitment to maintaining high standards of integrity and professionalism
