The Opportunity
A private equity firm is hiring an experienced Fund Accountant to support a growing investment platform focused on private markets. This is a fully remote position, with a preference for UAE-based candidates, offering a monthly salary of AED 20,000 – 25,000.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual fund financial statements.
- Maintain accurate accounting records for investment funds and related entities.
- Process capital calls, distributions, and investor allocations.
- Calculate Net Asset Value (NAV) and reconcile investment portfolios.
- Monitor cash positions and oversee bank reconciliations.
- Coordinate with fund administrators, auditors, tax advisors, and custodians.
- Support year-end audits and regulatory reporting requirements.
- Prepare management reports and performance analysis for internal stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards and fund documentation.
- Contribute to process improvement and automation initiatives where appropriate.
Skills & Experience
- Bachelor\'s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
- Professional qualification such as ACA, ACCA, CPA, or CA preferred.
- Minimum five years\' experience within venture capital, private equity, asset management, or a family office.
- Strong understanding of fund accounting principles and investment structures.
- Demonstrated experience preparing financial statements and investor reporting.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- High attention to detail and strong organisational skills.
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment while managing multiple priorities.
Compensation & Working Arrangements
- Monthly salary: AED 20,000 – 25,000.
