Full Description

This is a 6–12 month graduate trainee program based in the Middle East, structured to give the right candidate analyst-level responsibility from day one. The role sits within the Partner Relations team at a global private equity firm and offers direct exposure to top-tier fund managers across the US, Europe, and Asia, as well as insight into the regional investor landscape.

Visa eligibility note: Candidates must hold a valid Student, Parent, Spouse, or Golden Visa with a minimum of six months remaining validity to be considered for this role.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare research reports on industry verticals, competitor activity, and relevant third parties to support business development.
  • Review internal meeting reports to identify potential product and investor fit opportunities.
  • Market-map prospective fund manager partners across targeted strategies, sectors, and geographies.
  • Build and maintain target lists of prospective fund manager partners for outreach.
  • Support the due diligence process by reviewing investor presentations and investment materials, cleaning data, and conducting supplementary research.
  • Update and maintain the CRM database with information on prospective and current fund manager partners.
  • Assist with webinars, marketing material updates, and ad hoc projects as required.

Skills & Experience

  • Undergraduate degree in Finance, Economics, or Business, preferably from a well-regarded university.
  • Genuine interest in financial services and the investments industry.
  • Some familiarity with alternative investments, including private equity.
  • Proficiency in Excel and a foundational understanding of investment analysis.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organisational skills and exceptional attention to detail.
  • Self-motivated, independently driven, and a quick learner.
  • Commitment and energy to take on real responsibility in a fast-paced environment.
