About the Role
An asset manager based in DIFC, Dubai is seeking a Finance & Accounting Specialist to join its growing finance function. This role covers a broad remit across financial reporting, treasury, compliance, and process improvement within a regulated environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and multi-entity accounting in accordance with IFRS.
- Manage treasury activities, cash flow, working capital, and financial controls to support business operations.
- Oversee regulatory, VAT, tax, and statutory reporting, ensuring compliance with applicable financial regulations.
- Coordinate external audits and liaise with auditors, regulators, and internal stakeholders.
- Drive finance process improvements, systems enhancements, and automation initiatives to strengthen reporting efficiency and controls.
Skills & Experience
- Minimum five years of experience in finance, accounting, or financial reporting within financial services, investment management, or another regulated environment.
- Professional accounting qualification such as ACCA, CPA, CA, CIMA, or CMA.
- Strong knowledge of IFRS, financial reporting, treasury management, and multi-entity accounting.
- Experience with DFSA-regulated firms or familiarity with the DFSA regulatory framework is highly advantageous.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency with ERP systems and advanced Excel.
