The Role
A mid-cap private equity firm based in Abu Dhabi Global Market (ADGM) is hiring a Private Equity Associate. The firm is partner-led and independent, with assets under management in excess of USD 100 billion. The private equity platform covers buyouts, growth equity, co-investments, and direct deals across North America, Europe, the Middle East, and Asia-Pacific, with sector focus in technology, healthcare, financials, and industrial services.
The role is based in Abu Dhabi. Relocation support is available for the right candidate.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the full deal lifecycle across buyouts, growth equity, direct investments, and co-investments.
- Build and maintain LBO, DCF, and returns models, including scenario and sensitivity analysis.
- Lead commercial, financial, and operational due diligence on target companies.
- Prepare investment committee memos, deal materials, and presentations.
- Work directly with senior investment professionals on live transactions across sectors and geographies.
- Monitor portfolio company performance and support value-creation initiatives.
Skills & Experience
- 2–4 years of experience at an investment bank in M&A or at a private equity firm.
- Strong LBO modelling and analytical skills.
- Strong academic background from a leading university.
- Willingness to be based in Abu Dhabi.
