This infrastructure private equity internship offers comprehensive exposure to the full investment lifecycle at global finance firm. You will support deal teams in identifying, analyzing, and executing investment opportunities while contributing to asset management activities across the existing portfolio. The role provides hands-on experience in financial modeling, valuation analysis, and client communication within the infrastructure investment space.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support investment teams with financial analysis, valuation, and modeling for potential infrastructure investments
  • Create and review complex financial models including business forecasts, valuation analysis, and sensitivity testing
  • Prepare internal deal materials including investment memoranda and valuation presentations
  • Analyze new deal opportunities and evaluate investment parameters across different countries and sectors
  • Assist with asset management activities such as debt refinancing coordination and growth initiative implementation
  • Support co-investment activities by liaising between deal teams and potential co-investors
  • Prepare regular asset management reporting and participate in client communications
  • Collaborate with team members across multiple geographic locations

Skills & Experience

  • Outstanding academic qualifications from a leading business school or university
  • Completed Bachelor\'s degree or advanced Master\'s degree
  • Prior internship experience in M&A, strategy consulting, leveraged finance, private equity, infrastructure, or transaction services at a leading auditing firm
  • Strong understanding of private equity fundamentals and commercial dynamics
  • Proficiency in financial statement analysis and valuation techniques
  • Experience with financial modeling and LBO structuring
  • Advanced competency in Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
  • Strong quantitative, qualitative, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure as part of a team
  • Intellectual rigor and strong organizational capabilities
