ESG Analyst - Investor Relations

Full Description
This role sits within the Responsible Investment (RI) team at a global technology company, serving as the local subject matter expert on responsible investment and ESG matters. The Analyst supports institutional sales and client service activities, conducts corporate engagement on environmental, social and governance issues, and acts as a resource to relationship managers across the business.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and assess responsible investment issues that may affect company performance, maintaining current knowledge of global and regional industry standards, best practices, and regulatory developments.
- Conduct corporate engagement on ESG issues, including researching and analysing company data, coordinating internally, and attending meetings with corporate executives to discuss ESG policies, practices and performance.
- Assist in the creation and production of RI reporting, white papers, and internal and external communications.
- Serve as a resource for sales and service teams on responsible investment and Shariah investment topics, responding to client requests and attending external meetings as required.
- Manage assigned operational tasks and ad hoc projects of mid-level complexity through to completion.
- Identify, create and maintain documentation for the group.
- Collaborate effectively with a global team operating across multiple time zones.
- Follow group and firm policies and procedures at all times.
Skills & Experience
- Demonstrated experience working with responsible investment and ESG policies, principles and data.
- Experience communicating with managers and senior executives on business-related topics.
- University degree or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
- Full professional fluency in both English and Arabic.
- A minimum of three years of experience in financial services or an equivalent field is preferred.
- Ability to adapt to change in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Proven ability to prioritise workload and manage time effectively across multiple concurrent tasks.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
