The Role

The asset manager is hiring a Trader within its Private Banking division, which serves high-net-worth clients across banking and investment needs. This position is open to UAE Nationals only and is based in Abu Dhabi.

The role involves shift-based working across rotating schedules. Shift patterns vary by season: April to September (9am–5pm, 11am–7pm, 3pm–11pm, or 5pm–1am) and October to March (9am–5pm, 12pm–8pm, 4pm–12am, or 6pm–2am).

Key Responsibilities

• Receive and transmit trade orders and communicate order information to internal and external parties.
• Perform end-of-day reconciliation between front and back office for trades and settlements.
• Coordinate between fund administration and front office for portfolio reconciliation.
• Produce daily, weekly, and monthly trade reports.
• Log and file all communications to and from clients and departments.
• Review and monitor client portfolios and flag relevant information such as corporate actions and dividend pay-outs.
• Conduct compliance checks on all trade orders to confirm adherence to regulatory requirements.
• Communicate with clients and provide first-line problem resolution for trade-related queries.
• Adhere to relevant organisational and departmental policies, standard operating procedures, and instructions.

Skills & Experience

• Minimum 4 years of experience in a trading-related role.
• Diploma in a relevant specialisation.
• Knowledge of stock broking fundamentals.
• Ability to work across rotating shift schedules throughout the year.
• UAE National status required.
