The Role

The asset manager is hiring a Financial Analyst based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The role covers investment research, financial modelling, valuation, and reporting to support investment decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

Investment Research & Analysis

• Conduct investment research and market analysis across asset classes, sectors, and geographies.
• Track economic developments, financial markets, industry trends, and investment performance indicators.
• Analyse investment proposals, market opportunities, and portfolio developments, and provide insights and recommendations to support portfolio management.
• Prepare investment research reports, market updates, and analytical materials for management and governance review.

Financial Modelling & Valuation

• Develop and maintain financial models, valuation analyses, scenario assessments, and investment evaluation tools.
• Perform financial analysis, cash flow assessments, risk-return evaluations, and valuation exercises for existing and prospective investments.
• Support investment due diligence through financial reviews, performance assessments, and analytical evaluations.
• Assist in evaluating investment opportunities against financial, strategic, and risk criteria.

Investment Reporting & Decision Support

• Support preparation of investment committee materials, portfolio analyses, performance reviews, and management reports.
• Maintain investment databases, financial models, research materials, and analytical records.
• Support portfolio monitoring through performance assessments, benchmarking, and investment analytics.
• Identify opportunities to improve investment analysis methodologies, reporting capabilities, and decision-support processes.

Skills & Experience

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Investment Management, Economics, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 2–6 years of relevant experience in investment analysis, equity research, financial analysis, valuation, or related investment functions.
• Experience conducting financial analysis, valuation exercises, investment research, and due diligence.
• Experience developing financial models and supporting investment decision-making processes.

Technical Skills

• Understanding of investment analysis, valuation methodologies, financial modelling, and financial markets.
• Quantitative analysis, financial modelling, and investment research capabilities.
• Knowledge of investment products, asset classes, portfolio management, and investment evaluation techniques.
• Proficiency in financial modelling tools, spreadsheet applications, and investment research platforms.
• Analytical writing, investment reporting, and presentation skills.
• Ability to interpret complex financial information and develop data-driven investment conclusions.

Behavioural Skills

• Ability to communicate complex financial information clearly, both in writing and verbally.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities concurrently.
• Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and internal stakeholders.
