The Role

A global investment bank is hiring a Vice President to join its M&A and Equity Capital Markets team in Dubai. The role covers both M&A advisory and ECM transaction execution. Candidates must have Middle East market experience. Broader EMEA exposure is considered advantageous.

Key Responsibilities

• Execute M&A advisory and ECM transactions from origination through to completion.
• Support senior bankers in developing and executing corporate finance mandates.
• Prepare financial models, valuation analyses, transaction materials, and pitch books.
• Lead day-to-day transaction execution, coordinating with clients, advisors, legal counsel, and other stakeholders.
• Develop presentations covering M&A, ECM, and strategic advisory mandates.
• Conduct company, industry, and market analysis to support transaction and origination activity.
• Manage workstreams and ensure transactions progress against key deadlines.
• Manage and mentor Analysts and Associates on analysis, modelling, and execution.
• Support senior bankers in client relationship development and new business identification.
• Maintain current knowledge of capital markets, M&A activity, and investor sentiment across the Middle East and EMEA.

Skills & Experience

• 5–8 years of investment banking experience, gained within an international or regional investment bank.
• Demonstrated transaction experience across both M&A and ECM.
• Strong understanding of M&A processes, valuation, financial modelling, and equity capital markets.
• Ability to manage transaction workstreams independently under tight deadlines.
• Strong analytical, financial modelling, and presentation skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Middle East transaction experience required; EMEA experience advantageous.
• Sector-agnostic background welcomed; the role covers a broad range of industries.
• Experience working directly with senior clients and managing junior team members.
• Arabic language skills advantageous but not required.
