The Role

The company's Corporate & Investment Banking Group (CIBG) is hiring an Analyst for its Corporate Credit Support team. The team sits within a group that provides corporate banking services including investment and transaction banking and financial market solutions, serving government entities, financial institutions, non-bank financial institutions, large corporates, and international banking relationships across the UAE and MENA region.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage credit memos end to end, ensuring consistency, quality, and alignment across the organisation.
  • Prepare credit memos summarising borrower profiles, financial performance, risk factors, and recommendations.
  • Review and verify credit documentation following memos for completeness and accuracy, ensuring compliance with regulatory and internal standards.
  • Analyse financial statements and other financial documents for covenant monitoring and financial updates to Credit.
  • Meet service level agreement turnaround times, reduce rework rates, and keep process and policy errors within prescribed thresholds.
  • Coordinate with Relationship Managers, Risk, and Operations teams to facilitate credit memo processing and resolve queries.

Skills & Experience

  • At least 4 years of experience in corporate credit analysis or credit support within banking or financial services.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, or equivalent.
  • Working knowledge of banking and financial services.
  • Knowledge of credit risk management tools and financial statement analysis.
  • Analytical and logical reasoning skills; good negotiation skills.
  • Intermediate proficiency in MS Office: Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Product-specific underwriting knowledge.
